Parenting Through Flu Season and Coronavirus Fears

Today, an essay I wrote about trying to keep my son safe amid flu season and coronavirus was published in the Globe and Mail (!!!)

It’s giant and glorious in-print (not that I’ve seen it myself - leaving my apartment to track down a Canadian newspaper in NYC is not happening so I’m trusting the photos my father-in-law sent!) but it’s also available to read online here.

A lifetime ago, when I was a journalism student in Ottawa and later living in Toronto, the Globe was my touchstone. It’s pretty surreal to be published there. So trying to enjoy that even in these stressful times.
